AFCON 2023: NFF dangles $35,000 bonus at Super Eagles

Each member of the Super Eagles will pocket $35,000 should they win the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations title.

According to SCORENigeria, each member of the team will pocket a win bonus of $5,000 per match at the competition.

A draw will fetch each player $2,500.

This payment does not include the percentage of the upgraded $7 million prize money for the AFCON champions the players will negotiate with the NFF.

The Super Eagles are looking to win a fourth title in Cote d’Ivoire

They are drawn in Group A with hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.

The 2023 AFCON finals will run from January 13 to February 11.
