EPL: Iwobi, Bassey resume training at Fulham

Premier League club Fulham have announced that their Nigerian duo, Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey, have resumed training at the club.

Iwobi and Bassey were part of Nigeria’s squad to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The duo were pictured in training on Thursday and the Whites announced their arrival with a short message: “Our Super Eagles are back.”

The two players were last in action for Fulham against Arsenal on December 31.

Iwobi and Bassey were key performers for the Super Eagles side that finished in second place at the 2023 AFCON finals.

They featured in Nigeria’s seven games in the competition.

Fulham will face Aston Villa in a Premier League clash on Saturday.
