EPL: Arsenal have to be in conversation to sign Mbappe – Arteta

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has said the club has to be in the conversation to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe this summer.

But Arteta has also admitted that the 25-year-old is likely to join another club.

Mbappe has informed PSG this week that he will leave the Ligue 1 club at the end of this season.

PSG are expecting the forward to join Real Madrid once the terms of his exit are finalised.

It has not stopped Mbappe from being linked with Arsenal and Liverpool.

And Arteta, speaking to the media on Friday, said: “When there is a player of that calibre, we always have to be in that conversation.

“But it looks in a different way, that’s what I would say…”
