Only God Knows How He Survives – Shehu Sani On Soludo’s Claim of Not Collecting Salary

A former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has queried Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State after he claimed to have not collected salary for the past two years.

Reacting to Soludo's statement, Sani said only God knows how Soludo and his family manage their lives without collecting salaries for about two years.

Posting on X, Soludo wrote: “I read that Soludo and wife have not received any salary for two years.Only God knows how they are managing their lives.”

Soludo had said his decision not to collect salary from the state government was part of efforts to save costs.

The governor spoke during an interdenominational service at the International Convention Center, Awka, Anambra State capital, to mark his two years in office

He said he has plugged many leakages in government, cut a lot of cost, and has been doing a lot with little.

He said as part of realizing the plans of his government, the first lady of the state, Mrs Nonye Soludo, does not drive official cars, rather she drives his old cars.
