A Florida woman has left police baffled and in shock after a crack pipe was found inside her vagina by a scanner. She was charged with bringing a crack pipe into jail after the scanner picked up the glass tube inside her vagina as she was booked into custody.

According to NY DailyNews, Tiffany Flores faces felony charges of introducing contraband into a detention facility and tampering with evidence — along with a possession of drug paraphernalia charge — after she was picked up by the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old originally told authorities she couldn’t go through a body scanner at the jail because she was pregnant, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by The Smoking Gun. But after a test came up negative, Flores complied — and jail staff spotted “a foreign object located inside of Flores’ vaginal area.”

When staff went to confront her, Flores — who had been sitting in a holding cell by herself — pulled a “clear cylindrical tube containing a burnt end” from “her breast area,” according to the documents.

She told cops the crack pipe belonged to a friend, who had tossed it to Flores and told her to hide it when the duo was originally pulled over during a traffic stop in Fellsmere. Police on scene there found a small bag of cocaine outside the passenger side door of the car, according to The Smoking Gun.

But Flores was able to secrete the pipe inside her vagina, she told police.

During the arrest process, the officer wrote in his affidavit that he asked Flores several times if she had anything illegal on her, but she reportedly said no.

“Flores was given several opportunities to notify me of any potential contraband and was warned that introduction to a detention facility is a felony charge,” police wrote in the document.

She’s still held in jail on a total of $11,000 bond, records show.
