Real Madrid marked their back to back Champions League triumphs with raucous celebrations back in Spain, but that wasn’t enough for one of their stars.

Marcelo played a huge part in both seasons’ successes, and now he has found a new way to commemorate it.

The Brazilian needed a more permanent reminder of his achievements, marking them an addition to his huge tattoo.

Marcelo already had a Champions League trophy inked on his thigh, with the dates of his previous victories.

But now the left back has added 2017 underneath 2014 and 2016 on the giant leg decoration.

Marcelo posted the video of the addition to his tattoo to Instagram, along with the caption ‘Making history’.
