'We have a chance against Ikorodu'

The Solid Miner's shot-stopper has assured fans they will give their best against the Oga Boys on Sunday

Nasarawa United will be facing Ikorodu United at the Onikan Stadium on Sunday afternoon and Suraj Ayeleso believes his side stands a chance to win.

The Solid Miners are 11th on the table, while the Oga Boys, who are languishing at the bottom of the log, are desperate for the three points.

Kabiru Dogo's wards are coming off a win, after dispatching Sunshine Stars 3-0 last weekend.

"That will be a nice game. We come from two good results from the Federation Cup and the league. The match in Lagos gives us the chance to get the momentum going," Ayeleso told Goal.

The goalkeeper says he is enjoying his role as a regular in the Nasarawa United first team.

"Every time I take to the field, I want to make sure I do my utmost to help my team win.
I give it 100 percent every time and I don’t take anything for granted," he added.

"As a team we have made the commitment to put in the extra work to ensure that we are competitive in every match that we play.
I wouldn't want to talk about what will happen at the end of the season but all I can assure our fans is that we are going to give it our best in every match that we play."
