Conor McGregor reclaimed his loss over Nate Diaz with a majority decision win at UFC 202 and immediately called for a third bout at 155lbs with the Stockton native.
The bitter rivals embraced following the back and forth contest that saw Diaz hit the canvas three times before the fight hit the third round.
However, Diaz rallied in the final rounds and put the Irishman in considerable danger, particularly in the third round when he battered him against the fence before the bell sounded.
By the time the fight ended, it was anyone's guess who had taken it. The judges' scorecards underlined the closeness of the affair as two scored it 48-47 for McGregor, and the other deemed it a draw.
