Shooting Stars appoint Fatai Amoo as new coach

Former Nigeria U23 coach, Fatai Amoo, has replaced Gbenga Ogunbote, as Chief Coach of Shooting Stars of Ibadan.

Amoo admitted that he will make the Oluyole Warriors great again.

He was unveiled as the coach of the Ibadan-based club to replace Ogunbote who is on the verge of joining former Nigerian Professional Football League, NPFL, champions, Enyimba.


The former Dream Team VI assistant coach, who returns to the club for a second stint, expressed his readiness to make the team a formidable side again.

Amoo told reporters, “I am happy to be back home. Ibadan is my home and it’s great to have the opportunity of managing this great club once again.

“I know this club so well and hope to make it great again.”
