The Blues are confident of securing a deal to re-sign the 23-year-old ahead of the new Premier League season but fans have taken to Twitter to share their displeasure
It seems as though the signing of Romelu Lukaku would not be a popular with Chelsea fans. Or not for the transfer fee being mooted, at least.
The Blues have made a big-money move for the Belgium international, two years after leaving the club to join Everton.
Having scored 43 Premier League goals in 104 appearances for the Toffees the 23-year-old is reportedly looking for Champions League football.
However, rumours linking him with a return to Stamford Bridge have not gone down well with some Chelsea fans...
