Nnamdi Kanu Begs One Thing From Ndigbo Ahead of Tomorrow's Bail Ruling... Read What He Said

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu on Wednesday, appealed to South-East residents and supporters not to resort to violence no matter the outcome of tomorrow’s (Thursday) ruling on bail application by his lawyers.

According to statement issued by IPOB media director, Comrade Emma Powerful, said the appeal became important considering that the outcome might be against Kanu.

He called on Ndigbo not to embark on any form of protest.

He declared that “We are not expecting any thing good from the Nigeria court because President Muhammadu Buhari has since ordered the judiciary not to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

“We are not expecting anything positive from the court tomorrow, after all Buhari has made it very clear that no court will grant Nnamdi Kanu and others bail and since then the order is effective.

“Significantly, justice Ademola who granted him bail on 17th December 2015 is now facing allegations of corruption and he was suspended.

“Also Justice Shuaibu who granted him bail was also accused of corruption and now transferred out of FCT territory, while Justice John Tsoho who gives conflicting judgement in this same case is still sitting at federal high court up till date, despite petition against him before the NJC.

"The federal government and the defence headquarters have sent soldiers to the south east to rubbish the Amnesty International reports, which is causing confusion around Nigeria and the world.

“Therefore, we are advising every Biafran and IPOB members to keep calm because the soldiers sent here came with master plan to kill unarmed members and drop some sofisticated gadgets on top of the dead ones in order to rubbish the Amnesty International reports.

“Our people should accept whatever may be the outcome of the tomorrow’s court because already they have been told what to do.

“Everybody should stay quiet tomorrow to avoid unnecessary killing of unarmed civilians who came to celebrate; therefore no celebration of any kind.”
