A student of the Imo State University (IMSU) in Owerri, has been reportedly beaten and shot dead by suspected cultists.

According to online reports Reports, the yet-to-be-identified young man met his death on Tuesday evening after residents heard gunshots around the Orange groove Junction area near the institution.

An eyewitness who posted the photo on social media, said, ”I saw people running away, I heard gunshots, the killers escaped on a keke napep, three guys.

”People around were saying he is a cultist. They chased him from his shop to Orange groove before they shot him in the head.”
