This will make it the third time, Davido will be postponing his music project in 2016. This was after promising fans later last month that he will be releasing two EP's by this month, September.

Davido still hasn’t released one single song in the entire 2016 which is proving his music deal with Sony is a wrong move.

The singer had given African music hope when he penned a deal – which he said was worth
$1million after months of music barrenness. Now fast forward September the singer can’t catch a breathe.

Davido claims it isn’t his fault that he won’t be releasing the EP (Son of Mercy) he promised fans this month in a Snapchat rant earlier. The singer has had to depend on collaborations to stay relevant in the music game. He will also need his artistes Dremo and Mayorkun to continue to do well for him to remain on everyone’s lips as the music game is pretty forgetful.

In his Snapchat rant, the Ekuro singer said; 'I be done my part and my best, I'm sorry to all my true fans.'

After winning African Artiste of The Year in 2014 and 2015 at the MAMAs, it is fair to say Davido won’t walk away with anything at the forthcoming awards.

On two previous occasions Davido has failed to drop his album, which he cancelled and another EP, earlier in the year which he pushed to September, fans of the pop star, can only hope things get better for their OBO champ.
