Ibrahimovic seals Community Shield victory for Manchester United

Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted a late debut goal for Manchester United, as they beat Leicester City 2-1 to clinch the Community Shield at Wembley.

Jesse Lingard, who scored the winner in the FA Cup final months ago, ran through Claudio Ranieri’s team to open the scoring.


The Foxes levelled after the break, as Jamie Vardy pounced on Marouane Fellaini’s weak back pass, to calmly round David De Gea and score.

Ibrahimovic towered above Leicester captain, Wes Morgan, to head home the winner with seven minutes left.
