Nasarawa United players, coaches get landed properties, cash gift for finishing second in Federation Cup

Coaches and players of Nasarawa United have been rewarded by the State governor, Tanko Al Makura for finishing second in the Federation Cup.

The Solid Miners suffered a 5-4 defeat on penalty shoot-out to FC IfeanyiUba on Sunday.

Al Makura, made the gesture while hosting the players at the state house in Lafia yesterday also announcing cash gifts of N200,000 for the players, and N400,000 for technical adviser, Kabiru Dogo.

The Nasarawa outfit appeared in the final of the Federation Cup for the first time and lost 5-4 on penalties to FC IfeanyiUbah after regulation time ended in a barren draw.

Their hope of a chance of picking a CAF Confederation Cup ticket in the process was also dashed.
