Is Tiwa Savage Loosing Her Songwriting Skills? Why patronizing Olamide?

After several months without a single, Tiwa Savage finally comes through with '49-99', a single written by Olamide and produced by Pheelz. The former Mavin records act recreated fela's song “ Suffering and Smiling” describing the poverty rate in Nigeria.

The song narrates the adaptive features of Nigerians to accommodate 99 extra passengers who stand in a 49 capacity ‘ Molue ’ (a popular community bus in Lagos, Nigeria).

Tiwa Savage “49-99” visuals as directed by Meji Alabi began global streaming on September 5. The video features a detailed recreation of Congo High: Class of ’72, an epic photography collection of Congolese schoolgirls in typical African hairstyles and blue and white-collared uniforms.

After the success of '49-99', Tiwa Savage returns with another joint co-written with Olamide titled 'Owo mi da'. This was equally produced by Pheelz who is Olamide's producer friend.

Despite the fact it's absolutely cool to purchase songs or seek for help from renown songwriters, it's weird for a singer like Tiwa Savage to patronize the songwriting skills of a Yoruba indigenous rapper. Though Olamide sings for commercial purposes, he has been a rapper from the onset. If anyone must patronize Olamide's songwriting skills, it shouldn't be Tiwa Savage, a songwriter and singer from her very first day in the music scene.

Below is visuals from the 49-99 music video:

This leads us to the question, "Is Tiwa Savage Loosing Her Songwriting Prowess?
