Bride's Invitation Card Un-inviting Her Parents To Her Wedding

A 23-year-old woman, Alyssa Pearce, creatively uninvited her ‘narcissistic’ parents, who allegedly bullied her for 16 years, to her wedding in the most unimaginable way ever.

According to Alyssa, she had suffered physical, emotional, and sexual abuse at the hands of two people who were supposed to love and cherish her while growing up. Things were so bad that at 16, she had to run away from home.

Eventually, when she was to get married 7 years later, her parents tried to get an invitation from her through her grandparents. A pissed off Alyssa snapped and this was the best way she chose to respond.

Alyssa uploaded a wedding de-invitation letter for her parents on Reddit. It read:
‘Together with our friends and family, Alex and Alyssa, would like to invite you to sU-Ck it and bask in our happiness, your bitterness and our mutual irritation at each other’s existence… As we completely ignore yours and celebrate our marriage without you.

There will be a lovely ceremony, followed by cake, food and general merriment. And you’re not invited to any of it. Because f*** you that’s why.”
