Christian Tello arrived in Italy earlier this week to undergo a medical and, after the deal was confirmed by both clubs on Wednesday, has started training with Fiorentina.
The Spaniard joined Fiorentina on a six-month loan deal during the January window and made 13 Serie A appearances for the club, scoring two goals and providing three assists for Paulo Sousa’s side.

A statement from Barcelona read: ‘The agreement includes an option for Fiorentina to buy the player at the end of 2016-17, which FC Barcelona can block.’
