Swizz Beatz’s ex-wife Mashonda has approved the song written for her by Alicia Keys.

Prior to marrying Keys in 2010, Swizz Beatz was married to Mashona Tifrere, and following their divorce, the two have worked to successfully co-parent.

Having a blended family, as Keys puts it, is not the easiest task and the song helps put a spotlight on a situation that many families can relate to.
