The Nigerian internationals have kissed their 2016/2017 Champions league dreams goodbye after Wednesday's defeat

Nigeria internationals Emmanuel Emenike and Brown Ideye have been knocked out of the Champions league with their clubs on Wednesday evening,
Fenerbahce's forward Emenike was on target again as his lone strike was not enough to see Viktor Pereira's men get past French side AS Monaco in a 3-1 defeat.

The 29-year old former Spartak Moscow forward was on target twice when both sides met at the Sukru Saracoglu stadium last week in what ended 2-1.

Meanwhile, John Ogu sealed his place in the Champions league ahead of Olympiakos's forward Brown Ideye after Shir Tzedek's goal in the 79th minute earned Hapoel Beer Sheva a win.
