Grace To Grass: Look At The Manchester City Star Moving To Sunderland
Sunderland are interested in taking Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart on loan, according to Sky sources.
However, any move to the north-east would require City to subsidise Hart’s wages and for the England international to want to move to the Stadium of Light. It is thought he would prefer to go to a club playing in the Champions League.
Italian club Torino are also reported to be interested in the 29-year-old, who has slipped further down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadiumfollowing the arrival of Chilean keeper Claudio Bravo from Barcelona, with Hart having already lost his spot in the City first XI to Willy Caballero.
Argentinian Caballero has played in all three of City’s Premier League fixtures this season, with Bravo expected to replace his fellow South American when he becomes acclimatised in the north-west.
All of which leaves Hart facing a season of despair, if he fails to find a new club, either via a permanent signing or loan deal.
