Kevin Gates released his debut album, ISLAH, today, and he has also used the occasion to drop the video to a song that doesn't appear on the new record. In fact, in the new "Castle" video, one can hear Gates' contributions from the recent " Zeta Gang Castle (Remix)," on which he joined ZacZeta, aka the dude who crashed the stage and shouted him out at the People's Choice Awards.
It's a bizarre collaboration, but one that finds Gates spitting heat -- hot enough for a new video idea. The "Castle" visual was shot on Gates' recent European tour, during a stop in Brussels. The clip begins with a Belgian waiter pouring him a tasty looking codeine mimosa, and Gates proceeds to venture out into the town and rap about the "Bread Winner castle" in front of fittingly iconic architecture.
